How do I change the date format, time zone, and units of measurement in Provet?

This article explains how to change the date, time, time zone, and units of measurements.

Note

You need permissions to access the organisation settings. Changing organisation settings will affect all clinic locations in your Provet.

Change the Date and Time Format

The date and time format depends on the language selected in your personal profile settings:

  1. Go to your profile page, click your initials in the top right-hand corner of the page and select My profile

  2. In the Personal details section, select the pen button to edit the settings.

  3. From the Language drop-down list, select the language related to your location.

    • English (UK) shows the date as DD/MM/YYYY.

    • English (US) shows the date as MM/DD/YYYY.

    • If you select English (US) or English (Generic) as your user interface language, the time will be displayed in the 12-hour (AM/PM) format.

    • Languages such as English (UK), Norwegian and Swedish use the 24-hour format.

  4. Select Save.

You may need to log out, close all tabs, and log in again for the date format to change. 

If many of your users see a wrong or time date format, make sure you your organization settings have been set correctly. In Settings > General > Organisation > Organisation Settings, select the Default language for users setting. Users can change their personal language setting in their profiles settings, but this setting sets the default language for all users.

Change the Time Zone

If your Provet does not show the right time, for example, in the appointment calendar, check that the correct time zone has been set in Settings > General > Organisation > Organisation settings.

Change the Units of Measurement

In Settings > General > Organisation > Organisation settings, you can select the following units of measurement:

  • Weight unit: kg or lbs

  • Temperature unit: Celsius of Fahrenheit

Change Visible Hours in the Appointment Calendar

You can change the time frame visible in the appointment calendar by adjusting the Appointment settings. In these settings, you can set the first and last hour of the day and choose a specific Day view option.
