Generate Item sales report

The Item sales report provides data on item sales from consultations and counter sales. It enables you to find invoices based on items charged and generate lists of procedures associated with specific veterinarians.

Access the Item sales report from Reporting > Reports > Item sales.

The Item sales report is a business report that allows you to report on various sales item categories and group them for insights into business drivers and efficiency. Item sales report can be used, with careful evaluation, to support possible provision calculations.

On the Item sales report page, you can select the Show info button for a detailed explanation of the report and its features.

Item sales from counter sales and consultations are filtered by invoice date or date paid. All values are displayed in your clinic's currency.

Apply Filters and Generate Report

To generate the report, first set your desired filters and choose a timeframe. Once your filter options are set, select the Generate report button located under the filter options. The results will then be presented below the filter options.

Column Definitions

To find invoices based on specific items charged in a consultation or counter sale, use the filtering options within the Item sales report > Item. Choose the item or items you would like to base your report on. You can also sort by for example subgroup.

You can filter the Item sales report to show items used or added by a specific veterinarian. This functionality enables you to generate a list of procedures performed by individual veterinarians.

Schedule and Export the Report

You can also schedule this report for automatic, regular generation by selecting the Scheduled tab and adding a new scheduled report.

For easier analysis and overview, you can export the generated report to a sheet/file by selecting the Export/Print button, located on the right-hand side, under the filtering options.
