Settings for Patient Vitals

You can set which patient vital fields are in use on the consultation page, when marking planned food items done, and when triaging patients. Weight, temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, SpO2, blood glucose, central venous pressure, blood pressure, and body condition score are available for selection by default. You can create and add custom status fields in Settings > Lists & Templates > Custom statuses. In addition, you can set your own patient status options in Settings > Lists & Templates > Lists and take them into use. Read more about lists.

Consultation Page

Settings > Clinic location > Clinic location settings

  • Consultation status section fields: Select the fields you want to include in the consultation page Vitals section.

  • Multiple clinical notes for outpatients and home calls: The Vitals section is always visible for inpatients. For outpatients, the Vitals section is only visible if this setting is active.

Treatment Plans

Settings > Clinic location > Plans

  • Enable status entries for patients who receive planned food items: Select this setting to make patient vital fields available when marking a planned food item as done for a patient. The fields to be included are selected using the following setting.

  • Patient status fields: Select the vital fields you want to include in the food item plan dialogue when marking an item done.

Triage

Settings > Clinic location > Triage

  • Triage patient status fields: Select the patient vital fields you want to include for triaging patients.
