Add a Referring Organisation or Veterinarian as a Client

If you do not use the Provet Referral Portal to receive patient referrals from other clinics or hospitals, you can create referrals manually in Provet. Before you can create a referral, the referring organisation or veterinarian must be saved as a client in your Provet.

Add a Referring Organization 

  1. Go to Clients & Patients and select + New organization, or on the Dashboard select Create new > + Organization.

  2. Under Subtype, select the Referring organization checkbox.

  3. Add the Organization name and other relevant client information.

  4. Select Save.

Add a Referring Veterinarian 

  1. Go to Clients & Patients and select + New client, or on the Dashboard select Create new > + Client.

  2. Add the First name, Last name, and other relevant client information.

  3. Under Additional options, select the Referring veterinarian checkbox. Optionally, use the Linked referring company drop-down list to link the veterinarian to a referring organization.

  4. Select Save.
